Chapter Meeting – McConnell Air Force Base Tour

**Reminder that we are not having our normal meeting on October 1st at iSi!! 

The ASSP Wichita Chapter has the opportunity to tour McConnell Air Force Base, and get a background look at some of the Health and Safety challenges that they have to face during their operations.  We will be able to see the KC-135 static display, the fire station and several other areas on base.

  • We will meet at 1:45 in the south-side parking lot of Countryside Christian Church at 1919 S. Rock Road.
  • The tour will start at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
  • We will have some airmen who normally don’t get involved with the tours with us, who handle base EHS – just for our group!
  • The deadline for signing up is October 5th.  You will need to call the base to provide personal information (social security #, birth date, etc.) for a background check ahead of time, details will be sent to those who sign up for the tour.
