ASSP Wichita Chapter President

Proposed Change to Chapter By-Laws

Posted: Jan 07, 2019

The Executive Committee has decided to align with other Region V chapters by changing the term that elected officers serve from one year to two years.  We feel that this will help our officers gain more experience better serve the chapter, and improve the continuity of transitions through the leadership progression.  Currently, the Chapter Secretary moves to the Chapter Vice President position, and the Vice President moves to the President position each year.  This same progression would take place every two years if the proposed change takes place.   We plan to have a vote on this at the March 2019 Chapter meeting.

Please direct any questions, comments, or concerns to any of the board members
