Robert Pater is the founder and Managing Director of Strategic Safety Associates and the creator of the MoveSMART® system.

He is an internationally recognized safety expert, author, and speaker who combines an academic background in Organizational Development (BA) and Industrial Psychology (MA) with over three decades of martial arts training (such as Shidare Yanagi Ryu Aikijujitsu and Wing Chun Kung Fu) to improve workplace safety culture.
