An Overview of Industrial Hygiene, a Risk Assessment and Management Tool.
Nicole LaHaye, MPH, CSP, CIH, CFPS will provide an overview of industrial hygiene as a means to assess risks and develop controls.
Nicole LaHaye has a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology and a master’s in public health from Tulane University in Occupational Safety and Health Management; holds the CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist), and CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist). She has worked in industrial settings for 30+ years, including oil and gas, paper, and chemical industries. Currently employed by INVISTA as the Global Health and Safety Leader. In her roles, she has had responsibilities for all aspects of health and safety, including, fire protection, emergency response, occupational health, industrial hygiene, process safety, and occupational safety.
